  28. Welcome to EditPartner.  A text editor for Windows intended to be a 
  29. replacement editor for NotePad.  EditPartner has all the features of NotePad 
  30. with the following additions:

  32.  o Built in spelling checker
  33.  o Search and Replace
  34.  o Edit files up to 16 megabytes in size.
  35.  o Redo to compliment the Undo command.

  40. INSTALLATION

  42. No fancy install program is needed.  Just make a directory for Edit Partner 
  43. and copy the following files into it:

  45.  EDITPART.EXE
  46.  EDITPART.HLP
  47.  ACROP.DIC

  50. To make the icon for EditPartner available:
  51.  
  52.   In Windows 3.1 and Windows for Workgroups:
  53.  
  54.     In the Program Manager open the window you want EditPartner to show in.
  55.     Go to the File Menu and click New.
  56.     Make sure Program Item is selected in the windows that pops up and click OK.
  57.     Click on Browse and find the EDITPART.EXE file. Then click OK.
  58.     Now click Change Icon to see the icon for EditPartner and click OK.
  59.     You can now run EditPartner by clicking on its icon.

  62.   In Windows 95:

  64.     The icon for EditPartner will be available in the directory where you
  65.     copied it.  You can run EditPartner by double clicking on the icon.
  66.     If you want to make EditPartner available from your Start Button on the
  67.     Task Bar click once on the EditPartner icon and while holding down the
  68.     mouse button drag the icon to the Start Button and release it.

  74. REGISTRATION

  76.   If you use EditPartner for more than the 30 day evaluation period you
  77.   should send 20 pounds to Acropolis Software to register.  You will get a
  78.   disk containing the latest version of both the program and the dictionary.
  79.   Please use the order form to register.
  80.   If you do not use the form, please specify that you are registering
  81.   EditPartner and indicate your preferred dictionary: US or British.

  83.   Purchases of 10 or more copies will receive a site license package
  84.   which consists of two (2) master copies of the latest version and an
  85.   agreement that you can make the specified number of copies.  Site
  86.   license are charged 9.50 pounds per copy they wish to make.
